Robert M. Alderson

Boone Electric Cooperative Inducted in 2003

Bob Alderson started his cooperative career at Boone Electric Cooperative in 1966.  In April of 1977 he became General Manager and continued in that position until July 2000 when he retired after 34 years of cooperative service. His tenure was characterized by active and progressive community leadership.  Bob viewed his management leverage over regional infrastructure operations as an important resource for community development.
